Speed Racer came as a major part of my childhood, I loved that little monkey that he had, and the style, oh my, made any other cartoons of the time fade into oblivious..

Ah man I remember we had just moved to va when I was in middle school. We we're staying in a hotel so there wasn't much to do but watch tv lol. Robotech was the first show I really took interest in at all. Ahh those were the days.

Same here. I watched all those 4 when I was around 6. I didn't even really get the concept of anime at that time though.
