Man, no matter how much people try to put it down, this series is always a topic for discussion. It doesn't matter whether you liked it or not, you'll have an opinion on it other than the generic "that sucked for no particular reason".

really, incase you didnt notice rei's hands were going through shinji's chest and you couldn't see them. That dosent mean shinji suddenly grew two huge vaginas on his chest and rei put her hands into them, it just means that in that world stuff has no real physical substance, making sex impossible

She did after all say that it was the primortial soup (or something along those lines), where all the LCL went, inside Rei I believe. And Rei is probably the most "out-of-reality-while-still-in-reality" character, so I think it's fine to just let her have her kooky reality-world, with vaginas-in-chests and dickless 14 year-old guys.

I know I'm probably deluding myself but Spike may not have died. EVIDENCE-my strongest arguement is this-ok in Ballad of Fallen Angels he falls stabed and everything from a cathedral window with shards of glass covering himl. In Cowboy Funk he falls straight backwards off that bit of rubble about two floors and gets up no problem, he's running around like a headless chicken a second later. He is also shot God knows how many times and still fights no problem. He's a tough little cookie that Spike one, he lived to fight another day.

u ppl are idiots the last girl on the beach where shinji was throtling to heal (soemhow...) was Rei, Asuka and misato in one, the eyes, the soul, the body. It was a mix...strange enough..it ends with her saying i feel sick..

Actually laniz is right about his assumption about the mix .. buy the DVD and watch the COmmentary track .. the voice actors tell about some inside stuff they got from the writers .. and that was mentioned .. that asuka at the end had a little bit of rei misato and asuka in her.

The eye color change is just a rumor. It never changed, it was reflecting the red sea. And no, she didn't die, that's a misconception as well. She was quite alive during the entire series.
