I've seen the subbed version of the cowboy bebop movie, it's slow at first but it delivers like a new born baby towards the middle. I doubt that the people in charge of the theatrical release actualy care about what the viewers think, and id see it in theaters over and over.
Anime is great, but Joey from Friends is best.

HAHAHAHA! Remember? I didn't realize that part was at the end. Anyway, it's cool that you joined. Do you have a welcoming thread?

Hoo-ah. I have already seen the dub of Cowboy Bebop: The Movie (yes, someone changed the title for the American release, damn them). I rode on a bus for 36 hours to get to Anime Expo New York so that I could see the American premiere and it was worth every second.

I'm not sure that I agree about it being slow in the beginning, but it definately does get better towards the end. The new music (still by Yoko Kano, yay!) easily matches the rest of the series in quality. The animation is extremely good and the effects are wonderful. Vincent and Electra end up being very interesting characters and the way that the original cast interacts with them is done very well, in my opinion. And all that doesn't even take into account the wonderfully long fight scene that's about twice the quality of anything you saw in the actual series.

As far as a normal release goes, I seem to recall hearing that the date had gotten pushed back a month or two from the original January date. Don't quote me on that though, since I can't remember where or when I heard it.

You mean like this? Lol, did you see the sub, as well? Because I want to know if it's better or not.

Personally I like the dub better, mostly because I consider it to be the best dub that's ever been done for anime. I've always been a die-hard sub fan, and I usually prefer subs even when the dub is decent or even good. However, I consider the dubbed voice acting and dialog to be far superior to the sub in the case of Bebop. This is not to say that there is anything wrong with the sub, it should easily be on par with any other good subbing job out there.

Excuse me? I didn't screw it up, because I sent a copy of your burned copy copy to Andrew, and it played fine for him. You probably deleted some of your plugins, or you didn't have them. None of your players could even support AVIs. Get your story straight, and listen when I talk to you.

Also, I honestly think the sub was great, but Cowboy Bebop has an excellent dub, as far as the series goes. But, I think the lack of twenty, annoying, squealing, high-pitched Japanese voice actors was great. Man, if Faye or Julia had high pitched voices, I'd die... Anyway, the dub is the best out there. The voices fit the characters perfectly, and again, the lack of squeakiness is wonderful. They talk like REAL PEOPLE! Yay! I particularly like Ein's voice, lol.
