First of all you can tell right there he's full of shit. Anime is known for its attention to detail. Maybe not on the character's faces, but definately on everything else. You can take ANY western cartoon and compare it to anime and realize immediately that there is way more detail in anime. It sounds to me like that kid doesn't know what the hell he's talking about and is just pulling your strings. It's the old "it just does" bullshit that should be waved away and considered the insignificant ramblings of the unfortunately ignorant.

I have gotten one of my friends into anime and she loves it, any sensible person presented with a good thing would but my other friend even at the mention of anim... just says,'I'm not watching any of your chinese cartoon shit'. I've tried, I've really tried to convert her but she won't be helped. You put it on and she fucking talks over it. Bastard that's the worst crime.

My solution is don't even try to to argue unless they ask about it. Feed there curiousity and pity their ignorance.

I don't even want to get him into anime but I can't get him to stop sayign that all of anime sucks. this stinks. :(
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

I don't want to kill him ,maybe just main him, he also said family guy and south park and console games suck, I really had trouble trying not to beat the crap out of him.
