yes, he had complete controle over the reality he was going to be living in, remember when he was being shown that new reality where his mom was still alive and married to his father, and stuff. That was them showing what things could be like in instrumentality.

Yes, but he abandoned all of that fake reality. He didn't want to have all that love and attention if it wasn't real. So he abandoned instrumentality and returned to the real world. Which happened to be wrecked in the whole process. You didn't have to read between the lines to get that, there wasn't any ambiguity to the situation, that's why I questioned whether we're talking about the same Eva.

You are talking about the movie ending, in the SERIES ending which was the original ending, he chose instrumentality. Remember the part where he said " I see, I can live here." and then there is that scene where everyone is congradulating him?

I do remember. One could argue the Movie ending was not alternate just an expansion of the series ending. Showing after instrumentality. But hey, if you want to disacknowledge the movie ending then sure, what you said is true, there's no reason in us even arguing.

I detest the dubbed version of sailor Moon episode 45-46 thats all I know that I really hated. The Japanese version kicked ass, but the US dubs must be killed slowly and painfully with a large wooden spoon

Give 'em a break, they're just kids cartoons. Just because it's anime doesn't mean it has to be directed towards a higher age group. That's like randomly bashing Spot the Dog for being a bad piece of literature.

i don't like g gundam, dragon ball, medabots, and yu gi oh.
mobile suit gundam: war in the pocket sounds stupid. if my source is correct, there are only 6 episodes. waste of time if you ask me.
