kanji in Kenshin OAV

Post by Laven Atries » Mon Mar 31, 2003 12:50 pm

Towards the very end of the Kenshin Remembrance OAV (the Kyoto one), when the house is burned down, there is a kanji symbol on a mountainside written in fire. What does it say?

I'm such a Kenshin Geek! I know the scene from memory.

The Kanji is the word : Fire.

They tend to burn fires in Japan in the shape of the Kanji for Fire.
Simple Ne?

There is also some festival in Japan where five fires are burned on the mountains, for some reason as well. So this was also reference to that I believe.
