Where the humans actually comment on his un-hedgehog-like looks? Where Sonic actually feels pain, loss, depression, boredom, and other things. I can't think of one.

The cheapy American Sonic cartoons never really lived up to the potential of a Sonic animation though, potential which Sonic X looks like it might live up to. 
hey i care abput it .. as far as i'm concerned this is new to me. Sure i've only seen the first episode, but it look pretty interesting.
