Please help me to find Evangelion DVD's
I'm not sure that this is the right place for this post, so if it's not I apologise.
Anyway I have reciently started collecting Neon Genesis Evangelion on DVD. (I live in the UK so I need region 2 DVDs). I have managed to collect volumes 1-6 but I still need vol 7,8 and end of evangelion. I cannot for the life of me find any where that stocks them. Even sites like amazon.co.uk only stock up to volume 4. Can anyone give me a website that sells English (since I can't speak japanese) region 2 DVDs of eva volumes 7 and 8.
Thanks

Do yourself a favour... get a multiregion dvd player. The reason the anime releases in the UK are so slim is because all the fans import them, so there's no market for regional releases.
For more information on how to import anime to the UK, read this guide:
http://www.ox.compsoc.net/~flend/anime/ ... ing_guide/
Now, with regards to the other volumes of Eva in the UK - I dont think they've all been released yet by ADV so you'll have to wait. When they are released, you'll be able to get them from http://www.blackstar.co.uk/
Or, you could import the US region 1 release
Or you could get the incredibly cheap Australian release which is region 4 but might actually be listed as regions 2 and 4 (as lots of australian releases are).
Again, read the above guide for info on importing dvds. If you're an anime fan, you'll really want to get a multiregion dvd player and import.

Thanks a lot.
I've just found an australian site that supplies Eva volumes 7 and 8 as dual region (4 and 2) DVDs.
Horray I can finally finish my collection.
I would get a multiregion DVD player but it is quite a large outlay for what is (for me) quite a small hobby at the moment. I'm currently watching DVD's on my playstation 2.
Actually come to think of it the DVDs I have are dual region 2 and 4 as well so it seems that the website I was using (cdwow.com) was selling me australian dvds in the first place.

What is renewal of evangelion? Is it the remastered versions of the original episodes?
I don't really like watching DVDs on my PC, it just doesn't feel as good as watching them on a DVD player. Plus my PC just isn't good enough, I'm writing this on a work PC.
Well since I'll be finishing my Evangelion collection pretty soon what do you reckon I start collecting next.
I currently have:
Eva (obviously)
Akira
Fist of the north star
Angel cop (1-6)
Project A-ko
What other anime is considered classic? (ie like akira and EVA)
