My fav fights are the ones where both opponents are on the same par with one another, and it can be anyone's fight, all up to fate to decide the victor if thats what it comes down to. But...there ARE EXCEPTIONS to this preference. A few of the are:
ALucard vs the blond valentine brother(hellsing): AHH! The typical arrogant SOB agains the oldtimer that's good enough to be evil incarnate.
It starts off looking like they are equals, but I should have known: artificial supernaturals are pieces of rubbish as compared to the natural ones(namely Alucard) Blond Valentine(sue me, I forgot the name) got like three hits in and he thinks he bested the vampire badass?! It was slaughter from the beginning! Hot fight scene.
I liked this one better than the one against incognito or anderson. I thought the incognito fight made no sense, it was just random powers utilized by both sides, if you ask me. Anderson for some reason just annoyed the living crap out of me. I think that if all restrictions revoked, Alucard would have raped Anderson's regerating ass.
Okay, that was one rant down, the other unfair fight: Sesshoumaru vs the poison user(inuyasha)
Sesshoumaru is badass, I love him! Villain, with morals, not power hungry, and not exactly heartless. Not to mention powerful as hell, and I would be willing to bet he can snuff Naraku's sorry ass to hell, hands down.
Anyhow, I hate lecherous characters, esp the villains. (yes, that includes Miroku but only in the beginning, they developed him in the show so i can tolerate him. besides, he stops after the bonk on the head, unlike the rapist-ish leches) The poison user is an ugly bastard that can't get a girl in his real life, and even after being reanimated, he can't get a girl worth a shit. He tried to force a "marriage" with Kagome using a paralyzing poison(stereotypical hentai method, just w/o actually going through it) Sess just came in and cut the sucker in half! Hot!
Now, on to the fair fights:
Knives vs Vash(Trigun): Hell yeah! Hot guns, russian roulette, gun tricks and most of all ANGEL ARMS! Wished the fight lasted longer though.
Kaneda vs Tetsuo(Akira): Debated abt putting that in the unfair fights but decided against it. Tetsuo don't know how to completely master his powers and they seem to madden him if he uses them in prolonged periods. Kaneda was cool, had motorcycle, anger, determination, and military laser gun that can cut a building to pieces.
Hero vs Zechs(Gundam Wing): Anybody's fight. Props to the makers of Gundam Wing! I am not a hardcore mecha fan or politics fanatic either, but somehow, it was masterfully done so that the two negatives cancel to create a unique positive. Both were equally steadfast in their view of humanity, equal in terms of Gundam power, and in any other circumstance, I would see them as friends probably. Very good, very good
Spike vs the flying thing(cowboy Bebop, no clue what eppy, but its the one with the homicidal clown): Okay, this may seem a bit unfair, but hear me out. The clown beat Spike to a pulp, basically. He had literally no chance against him, but what the hell, psychos have their own little phobias.(this character hated cats) and Spike lucked out. Not exactly even, but fate got her own plans.
Vash vs BDN(Brilliant Dynamites Neon)(Trigun): BDN is one of the few villains out there with a moral and code and actually lives by it. Not to mention, true to his word! The fight would normally not be even, but with Vash's injuries and no-kill-no-matter-what rule, it was. More power to Vash for winning,d espite serious setbacks.
Mononoke vs the Queen-lady(once again, me not know name)(Princess Mononoke): Really more comical than anything I've seen, in terms of fight scenes. A wild woman, vs the leader of a country. Ashitaka(the guy, sry if I spelled it wrong) was like screw both of you's and separated the two, one hand each with his new strength from the curse.
Inuyasha vs Sesshoumarou(Inuyasha): Half brothers, mortal enemies. Sess should have won in all the fights, he's faster, smarter, and just plain flat out superior being a full-blooded youkai(demon) Yet, the fights gave major breakthroughs for our hero, Inu. First fight: Got the Tetsusaiga. Second fight: Discovered sword is badass and can kill a hundred youkai with the proper swing and mastery. THird fight: Actually learning the move and Sess finally came close to death on that one. ALso, opened an opportunity for Sess to be seen as a bit more warmhearted. (Note: Fights aren't in chrono order, its off the top of my head)
