MinnieMoose. It seems you know quite a bit about an anime that u detest so much. Just because an anime isnt deadly complex doesn't mean that it's not good. I bet that once you yourself cared to watch this show. To me it seems like one day a person just declared that they didnt like DBZ. Ok well not that big of a deal but than nows theres scores of them and most probably havent given it a fair chance. If you like it great. If you dont great too. Just dont base your opinion on a greatly simplified thought that you came up with or yanked from someone else who jumped on the bandwagon.

I wouldn't suggest anyone over-exaggarate their concerns to massive proportions or declare their opinion to be absolute truth. Whichever side you're on, it's still bad taste.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I woke up not too.. long ago, well Otohiko, Im sorry if Ive made you upset, obviously this has affected you a lot. Oh also, you use the word "empirical" way too much, lighten up, this is not an english essay, just a forum... I started this DBZ haters post mostly because people were bashing DBZ fans like they were some kind of mindless retards. So when I started this I didnt put all my ideas in order like Ive said earlier, I was being hipocritical and also, I forgot the rules about making persuasive arguments, You have to admit and explain the bad things as well as the good. Thx to Arigatomyna for that. In the future if I start an argument I will do a better job of it :)

I have not read this entire thread, but I have a few things to say:

1) From what I have read, a number of you need to really work on your writing and debating skills. Most of the things said defending DBZ have been fairly weak (with the exception of Milliardo's). Most of it has been "Nu uh. It rules!"

2) Most importantly, what's the point in arguing about your tastes. Let the DBZ fans like what they want and in turn, they should let you like what you like. Different strokes for different folks. At the same time, I do realize a DBZ fan started this thread and was pretty much asking for it. Regardless..this is a pointless debate. Does anyone actually believe that they're convincing the other side (even though I have seen some very witty and well-thought replies)? Both sides are fairly adamant (*cough* blind) to the other's and won't understand it.

3) This thread needs to die!

okay... dbz is an... interesting series of anime... it is mostly targeted for the younger audience, thus its ridiculous art..... i believe it is an anime for "newbies" to anime... thus you cant compare it to other animes (i.e. hellsing, eva, etc.) i will say it is better than pokemon, digimon, yugioh, hamtaro, cyborg 009, and other "youth-directed" animes... yeah... thats my opinion... so yeah... have fun bickering
HEY!!! THOSE ARE MY UNDERPANTS!!!! GIVE THEM BACK!!!
