I do like Teen Titans and Starfire is my favorite. I also really like Ravens personality.

I dont have a problem with them borrowing from anime influences. Shows how popular anime is.

Yup, I definately agree. If something is good, then of course it will get copied. I know this is really out of the blue and not related to the topic but all this copying stuff reminds me of Sae from Peach Girl.

Anyways, I am still waiting to watch TT. Raven's attitude is so cool (calming) and Starfire is carefree, that is why I like both of them.

really the only American cartoons i like are the ones on adult swim like Family Guy that show always makes me laugh my ass off i also like space ghost and sea lab 2021 however those few cannot redeem all the rest

I like many American cartoons but I don't really LOVE the sick type where there are swear words and stuff like that. I am just not a person like that. I mean, if it is funny, amusing, and something that is apealling to me, then I do like it. Family Guy is funny so I do like it but not much. It is ok.

I think my only complaint and the reason Fox dropped it is that they make comments and little side jokes which is fine but they dont seem to know where the line between funny and offensive is. Somethimes I watch it and its very funny and the next scene they may do something that makes me think "Damm!!"

Hey!!! I like that show! I like a lot of American shows! I don't care about how something looks because there is the quality that actually counts. I mean, if a show is bad because of how it is, then it is bad, but if it has bad animation, that doesn't mean the story is bad or not amusing or whatever. I don't mean to be rude and sorry if I am but listen, if you judge something by how it looks then I......I just don't even want to bother on commenting on that.

Actually, I would rather watch Ed, Edd, and Eddy over the Justice League because I don't like the Justice League. Yes, it is "prettier" but I just don't like it because that is me, I don't judge it because of it's looks.

Hey, I agree that American cartoons don't really have a complex storyline and all and to me, it isn't better than anime, but I can't say that I am not amused by American cartoons. I also like it too. You shouldn't say that American cartoons are bad just because you are comparing it to something else. WHY COMPARE!?!?! It is good by itself.

If the US is trying to improve, then let them improve without comparing about how they are copying! Isn't it better to have people improve to get better quality than to just say that they are wannabes?

Okay, let me apologize. I guess I was gettin into it too much. What I said was just my openion. And it doesn't go for all US animation, it goes for the majority of it. Yeah, I agree with that one guy that the best US cartoons are on aduly swim.

And I mean, when watching a cartoon, one of the things you do consider is how it looks. I mean, this is different from the whole "judge a book by its cover" buisness. People spend time drawing this and editing it on the computer, so shouldn't you pat attention to the style? And maybe some styles are more appealing to people than others, for example, you said you would rather watch Ed Edd & Eddy over the Justice Leage, which is completely fine with me. I made a mistake in speaking for teh "majority" which I probably should have just spoken for myself.

And yeah, I guess your right to let the US catch up, I mean theres nothing really I can do about it. And some of the series aren't so bad really, I would just rather stick to watching more anime.
