Fushigi Yuugi vs. Ayashi No Ceres

I have 2 of the Ceres DVDs, and am reading the manga, which seems to have stopped coming out. And I've also seen the beginning of the first season of Fushigi Yuugi. I prefer Fushigi Yuugi. I mean, Ceres is okay, but there is too much "I love you Tooya, why are you being so mean" stuff in it. And Mrs. Q just seems REALLY out of place, comic relief or not.

Too bad while trying to fall asleep I'd be awoken by Miaka saying something stupid in her annoying voice or her saying "Tamahome" (and Tamahome saying "Miaka") 20 times an episode (you think I'm kidding to...go count...I did ;_;)

Then again, I haven't seen Ayashi no Ceres (other than 2 episodes), so I will say it's better since I find it hard for me to hate anything more than I hate Fushigi Yuugi.

i've watched fushigi yuugi and the first four episodes of ayashi no ceres, and i have to say that ayashi no ceres is way better than fushigi yuugi.

Yuhi is so much better , hes funn and cute and funny and can cook and has a great musical ear and he's funny. did i mention he's funny?

well Fushigi Yuugi has Chichiri and Miaka's funnies but its very sad when all of them die and the OAV is really crazy and confusing (i own the whole series btw) and everything like that....Ceres is also very serious aside from small gags and stuff. but this is "Watase-sensei no" style. and i havent seen alot of Ceres ive seen the first 3 eps and read the first 5 mangas. However for the best story id say FY but for best art id say Ceres (more up to date)

but both have a nice selection of Bishounen so hahahahaha

i forgot to say that if u find it boring ur probibly watching the american dub, they really made everything corny the japanese versions of both animes are much better

For me, I prefer Ayashi no Ceres. It has a lot MORE blood and gun action. Plus I think Aya is cute (she almost got raped 2 times already).

true it does have a lot of blood and action but i think FY also has that much too, especially around Nakago BWHAHAHAA

I would have to say Fushigi Yugi over Ayashi no Ceres because the way it is going in Ceres, I just don't like it much. I mean, I like the storyline about the whole past life and Ceres but I just hate the whole Aya, Yuhi, and Touya thing because all Aya is saying is "I love Toya, I only 'like' Yuhi" so it doesn't make much of a chance for Yuhi much and personally, I would totally choose Yuhi over Toya. I just don't like Toya. Yuhi is soooo much better but noOoOOooo....That Aya is just all over Toya!!!!!! ARGH!!! I hate this, Toya maybe hot, but Yuhi is also hot and he has a much better attitude, but I can tell that AYA CAN'T SEE!!!

No offense to people who like Aya because I think that is fine. I totally understand that people like Aya, I just don't like her, well, so far no.

Oh yeah, I just realized, I like Fushigi Yugi, but I don't like the later on series when it gets rated R or something with the whole sex and rape and all that. It just totally ruined what I expected of Fushigi Yugi because it started out much differently.

Which name is better anyways, Taka or Tamahome?

Taka! only because its more normal and i hate miaka's voice when she says "Tamahome" less strain on her voice if its only 2 syllables. and i have a 25 year old friend name Taka (get this) Hashi maybe this is why i like this dude so much? nah he's cute and so nice ^^ and taka is so much better without the ponytail ^^ ( look slik emy friend too) making wanna marry Midorikawa-sama(seiyuu for Tamahome, Schuschu, *Dunpeil, and Kaiba!)
