I thought that the US improved on the second episode by....A LOT! I don't know, that maybe just me. Anyways, I thought that the second episode had more drama and meaning and it was more complex than the first episode so of course I thought that it was good.

If the US is making anime look bad, then don't watch anime if you are going to base anime on what the US make anime look like. It doesn't matter to me. Whatever the US does is fine with me and whatever the Japanese do is fine with me, I don't really care.

The show was good for an American-made anime. Anyway it's not the first time an American anime was made. Have you seen the show Totally Spies?

If this series lasts for 13 episodes, the Americans made their mark. They should learn how and when to end a series without dragging on with pointless plots.
