Cartoon Network is going to sue Anime Network??

Yes, the AN only shows titles done by ADV. Boogiepop Phantom was released by ADV, by I think Right Stuf dubbed it. I don't remember the relationship, but I do know that ADV is the main company behind it. Also, the AN will only show dubbed anime. And as for the CN thing, I don't want them to go off the air. I just want them to get a substantial kick in the ass. That way, they'll get over themselves. I'd rather watch Excel Saga than most of the crap they show anyway.

I hope they dont show excel --; Its a really good show, yes...but the dub...no. And you know they probably will show it dubbed so yeah. --; Of course it HAS to be ADV stuff and not some actual good company, but oh well, they have good shows just the shittiest dubbing ever --; AN is kind of out here in cali...as in barely. I did the whole "demand-your-anime" thing at AX and had them mail the cable company and all that but yeah --;

CN can sue the Anime newwork for having Samurai X stuff.They can also sue for having the word 'Network' in their name, but it's a shaky case & will probablly be dismissed.Inuyasha will be back on 8/25/03 [their is a god] Kenshin is on saturday @ 9:30 along with .hack//sign .....though tonight CN is having a Fags Next Door marthon that runs though that block.ThaT IS WHY an NEEDS TO BE WORLD WIDE!!!!
+ who ever said we want to know what they think of Inuyasha ,anyway.Their probalbly one of the people who keep CN in bussiness,Baka!!!

I seriously don't get what most of you have against CN.

I mean they did decide to show Family Guy reruns.

I don't know what CN is troubled about Anime Network. I mean, CN demeans the original audience of most of the anime, and they don't get the essence of the anime they show because it's for kids.

CN doesn't even have anything against Anime Network. C'mon, they're gonna sue 'em for the 'network' being taken? BS. They can't say that Anime Network is a mimicry of Cartoon Network, because first and foremost, Anime are not the same as Cartoons!

While kids can have Cartoon Network, mature viewers should have Anime Network! In any case, I'm not too happy with what CN has done with Rurouni Kenshin. They put it on their Saturday Night Lineup crap with all this other crap. RK deserves to be treated to a slot on Adult Swim.

In any case, I'm just saying that I'm pissed how Anime are considered Cartoons by majority...

As a closing thought, I just want to remind all of you that Anime are not the same as cartoons, and that cartoon network get that right. So what's my take on the issue? Down with CN, and Onward with AN!
