Sailormoon happened to catch my interest. I have seen lots of anime before - Voltron, Robotech, Pokemon, DBZ, Speed Racer - but nothing quite did it for me to any large extent. Although, looking back, those ones were pretty good too and thanks to them I actually knew that anime existed and was pretty cool.

The first anime I knowingly watched in college was the one that got me hooked. Martian Successor Nadesico was it's name, and I have been watching anime ever since.

Heh, I was in college before I found out about anime. A girl I met turned on Sailor Moon one day, on CN, and I suffered through it for weeks. It wasn't too bad, but I hated the voices, it just sounded silly and annoying. Then she bought the Sailor Moon R movie in japanese - sent it home with me. I watched it four times back to back and I've been watching anime ever since. I still can't stand the SM dubs, but hearing the japanese voice actors scream in that movie really caught me - the acting is so much better than any US cartoon I'd seen back then. I went on to Gundam Wing, hit on DBZ when the android saga showed up (I'd caught episodes of the Frieza/Goku fight but never watched - just waiting for SM to come on or GW). I bought a few tapes of Rurouni Kenshin, instant hit with me (yes, the dub), lots of dbz tapes, and so on. My first dvd was Earthian - I've stuck to dvds and pure japanese ever since. I can't remember the last time I watched one of my tapes - I pawned over 30 SM tapes, and still have lots collecting dust in my closet. It's all japanese audio for me.

And, currently, my favorite anime is YYH - about the only long anime I've ever seen the entire series for (not including RK since I won't watch the Christian saga).

what got me hooked was watching anime one what eventually turned into the Action Channel..but for me it was formerly known as Movie Plex. They show titles like Macross Plus, AppleSeed, some other Macross flicks, Battle Arena Toshinden, and what not practically uncut. Frankly after AppleSeed and Macross Plus I was immediately hooked.

Well when I was seven I liked sailor moon & DBZ [freezia (spellled that wrong right]Then I didn't watch anime till I turned 15 When I was spending the night with a friend she had a Kenshin video [yes it was so long ago that it was on VHS]It was subtle so she had to explain but since then I've fond Inuyasha, Gundum [all -orginal (animation sucked on that one]Kikaider Samurai X Sakura Wars,Trigun.Well basically every anime.

When I was in middle school, I began to watch Pokemon, Digimon, and Dragonball Z... but what really got me into anime was Gundam Wing.... That show was just so cool! ^__^
