Ojamajo Doremi

Post by Garylisk » Mon Jul 08, 2002 11:57 pm

Hey, does anyone know where to find fansubs of Ojamajo Doremi? (Tapes or CD's, now downloads! I am THROUGH with downloading digisubs!)

If not, does anyone know if the show is being liscensed by anyone?

I saw the part of DDR Project featuring it, and it looked SOOOO CUTE! I found a couple sites with pics from the show, too. I'll be looking around more in a bit, but I really wanna see it! *Turns mushy inside from the cuteness*

Sorry if I bump this old topic, but I am a fan of this show as well. How did the music video look like?
I like Ojamajo Doremi

I've seen the music video. It used a DDR song named "Love" by Sonic Dream. Are those kids like 4th graders or something? Mostly the music video consist of those girls going all "goo-goo" over bunch of guy soccer players.

Since posting this topic last year, I have seen several episodes of this anime, and even helped translate it :P

It's a cool cute show... the main character is Doremi, a grade school girl who wants to be a witch. One day, she finds this magic shop and goes in and looks around. The shopkeeper is an old woman in a rocking chair. Doremi notices her pointy nose, her red eyes, and the fact that she doesn't like children.. which makes Doremi think the woman is a witch. Doremi screams "You must be a witch!", mutch to the woman's dismay.

After this, the woman turns into a slug-like slime creature. Appearently once a witch is identified as one out loud, the witch becomes a slime.

Now in order to turn the witch back into a person, Doremi has to train and become a witch. She even eventually gets her friends in on it. ;)

This show has all the cuteness and bright colors you'd expect from it.. plus all the gadgets, transformation brooches, magic wands, etc... It's classic Magical Girl anime. One thing transformation sequence haters might appreciate is that the transformations are rigidly timed. If they don't "get changed" before the music in their brooch finishes playing, they fail and have to try again. So that's nice, heh :P

Overall, the show is more of a kids show.. definitely intended for a younger crowd... but it's still fun to watch.

I know all of that. I have several epsidoes, music videos from the show, and more mp3's in my computer. Don't know what collectibles you have, but how many epsidoes do you have on your computer garysilk?
