^_^ This is fun. I'm so glad we can bash other people's beloved anime without caring if it bothers anyone.

I agree with most of these excpt for Love Hina, The anime is a piece of crap but I really enjoy the manga

Ah, I was just picking at Omni when I said that. ^_^;; I haven't actually seen Love Hina, but the vids I've watched for it had the same fanservice slapstick humor theme to them, and I dislike that on principle. The anime itself - I know little about.

DBZ- it's absolute crap!! How can this show have such a huge fanbase?

Pokemon, Digimon, Card Captors--- all of these shows that deal with collecting monsters. The story in these is ridiculous and they just try to milk people for money with all the toys and games. (Southpark did a hilarious episode making fun of these shows and all the marketing crap that goes with them, btw).

There are others I don't care for, but only these ones are on my hate list.

Uhm... here's a list of ... whatever I don't like?

DBZ - I don't like this because it keeps repeating itself. I mean, after the first really big villian is defeated (was it Freeza? I dunno... ) it's like... you get the point of the show. You don't need to see the same thing happen all over again when the characters change. I will admit, however, that I enjoyed Dragon Ball somewhat. I thought that the characters were super cute as kids and it wasn't that repetative... well, it was, but not as bad as DBZ.

Yu Yu Hakusho - I guess this is a lot like DBZ. The beginning was really good, but after Yusuke got his spirit powers and started to fight off demons it kind of got repetative. I also find it really boring...

Big O - Very boring... I didn't watch enough of it to understand it... but I just couldn't stand watching more than 5 mintues of it at a time. I also hate mechs... they dont' interest me. So put in almost every mech anime in this list. Except for Gundam Wing... I liked those characters.

Kenshin - Actually, I love this anime, but I have to express my undying hatred for Kaoru. What a horrible character. She's so whiney and stuff... (stuff, what a great way to describe something x.x) I can't stand her!

Yu-Gi-Oh! - I like the manga (I'm reading it though Shonen Jump though, so it may get a lot worse), but I dislike the anime. It's all kiddy-ish and the characters don't seem to be as developed. Ah, well.

There's probably a lot more, but I don't feel like typing anymore.

Hmm...Anime i can't stand.....

DBZ (Does absolutely nothing for me...)

Soul Hunter ( It starts to get REAL boring and confusing around the end....it's like they decided well this isn't working let's throw random character here for five minutes, kill him and claim we know what we're doing)

hmm...can't really think of any others off the top of my head.....

Though, i like Love Hina...but i definately agree that the manga is BY FAR superior to the anime...MOST DEFINATELY!!!!!

Calling my shot.

1. DBZ-Too repetitive
2. Ultimate Muscle-I'm a wrestling fan and they're not good at mocking the sport. Anybody that uses gas doesn't deserve my respect.
3. Tenchi in Tokyo-Animation was ghetto and Ayeka was even more bitchy than normal. Not good.
4.FY-Tamahome! Miaka! Could've cut that in series in half and done the world a favor.
5. Sailor Moon-I would've liked this anime better if they cut out the Inners all together and just worked with the Outers. As it is, the damn plot was annoying and a dude that throws roses as weapons AND goes out with a high school kid when he's in college doesn't cut it.
6. Medabots-Ghetto animation, crappy voice acting, and a wack plot doom this baby.
7. Pokemon-I'll admit that I liked the first season, but after that it went to hell. None of the main characters have changed at all since. It's just an animated version of cockfighting.
8. Hikaru no Go-An anime about the game Go and a excuse for yaoi. Not cool. I saw this at an anime meeting and most of the audience immediately MST3K-ed it.
9. Megami Kouhosei-Crappy space drama/mecha show. The pilots sucked.
10. Wedding Peach-Sailor Moon rip-off and they didn't have the decency to have girl characters that were remotely hot.
11. Card Captors Sakura-Sakura was TOO damn cute and with all the crap that happened to her, there's no way she should be as happy as she was. Don't give me that magical girl excuse either.
12. Zoids-Pretty CG, bad plot/characters.

That's all I can think of.

It seems.... (and i've read the whole thread) that most people have certain parts of anime's that they like and don't like. Does anyone just have an anime that they hate all throughout? Like hated the begininning, hated the middle, hated the end, hated the characters, hated the plot, hated the setting.......... hated EVERYTHING in general??

I don't really have anything like that. I guess anime draws you in, in the beginning, but then you end up not liking the ending after it gets repetative and boring. Most anime series have REALLY bad endings with very few exceptions. Actually, i think the longer the series is, the more annyoing it gets... most of the series that were named in this thread were very long with a lot of episodes. But did anyone hate the whole freaking series of a particular anime?

DBZ would be my closest to that. I liked it when i saw the first like... 10 episodes and then i lost interest... After that it seemed so stupid.... and then the more i watched it, the more i hated it..... and then the more they contined the series, the more i wanted to strangle whoever asked for more of it to be shown.

Anyone have any anime like that???

An anime that you absolutely postiviely, thoroughly hate from beginning to end???
