depending on where you are, around 200 is the standard price for a standard 26 ep box set. most box sets in canada will cost you about 230 because of the tax though. But since were talking about pioneer's ass mnger spree (or i think we are), lets not forget 320$ for a trigun box set ... and i think thats american without tax ... thats probaby 450 canadien (this is just a rough guess). That sucks ... and it's almost double the standard price.

That also depends on where you shop though and how recent the box set was released...for example when i bought my one Slayers Box Set...it sold for 230 at Chapters but it was 125 at Best Buy *without tax*

You really just need to browse a lot...even when i was at the CNAE, the same box set (for example FY) ranged from 250-330. It was nuts...

230$ for eva at Comic World. It would have been the same at HMV, and i tried looking around at other places, but canadien best buy's have cock bite for an anime selection, and i couldn't get an instore order for Eva at Future shop ... those were pretty much teh only places that were close to me ... if i have to order anything i go to Comic World irregardless of the price, i just like them, end of story. Yes thats right Future shop, clerk bitch! Want to give me some more dirty looks!

but in canada, when you live in Brampton and have severly limited mobility coupled with the inability to make purchases over the net, you don't have that much choice.

ok, theres alot of different prices. I use dvdpricesearch.com for most of my stuff. But what I'm saying is pioneer's retail price is 30 a piece x 8 dvds runs 240 US and stuff like FY is 200 for the same number of eps. yes its but only 4 dvds (so lower quality) and with no extras that I can remember. Thats 50 a dvd... That's a new ps2 game price :l

but theres a difference, you shop online ... usualy you can get much better prices online then you can from retail. But yea, i know, prices tend to vary big time.

well fuck the two of you ... i've never seen a canadien box set for less then 199$, which ends up being 230$ ...

Moonlight ... what part of ontario are you from? shit 165 would have been pretty fucking nice ... i had to cough up 230$ for my copy.
