knockin' on heavens door was amazing. yes it's called knockin' on heavens door ... not the movie ... fucking pioneer idiots, can't leave good enough be ...

Anyways it was a great mpvoe that focused almost exclusivly on spike, or at least thats what i noticed when i watched it. If they make more i hope they focus on other characters, ie. a faye based movie, a jet based movie, and who knows, maybe an ed/ein based movie (i don't think ein is that big of a character to justify an entire movie being dedicated to him)).

but this is just wishful thinking, they'll problaby leave it at this. BUt it would be nice to get some more details on the past of the bebop's crew.

That would be so amusing--an Ein OVA. Imagine: a half hour detailing life on the Bebop from the eyes of perhaps the smartest creature on the ship... Someone ought to at least do an AMV off that...

But, I dunno... I don't think they should do many more movies, if any. There was a decent balance between all the characters, and although they didn't really deal with the history of any of the characters, I think that's a good thing. The series has pretty much everything you need in that respect.

*shrug* The movie was about Spike in the same way the series was about Spike. Each character gets their turn in the spotlight, but in the end Spike's the most important guy.

then curse the mirmax guys if it makes you happy ... all i care about is that somewhere somone threw a wrench in the gears and they totaly mutilated the title. Because i think nearly everyone will agree, "knockin' on heavens door" sounds much better then "the movie".

They couldn't call it "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" because of Bob Dylan's song of the same name (and it's a really cool song, by the way). Knowing how we, Americans, are, there would have been lawsuits up the yin-yang. Ah, well... I think the movie is more important than its name.

yea but it would have been following the music related theme in teh CB episode names ... besides wasn't it released as "knockin' on heavens door" in Japan?

and what about ep 6? Sympathy for the devil? it's the title of a great Stones song, but that wasn't fucked with ... umm ok, i only own the first 2 dvd's and there aren't any other ones.

i think it was changed for a dumber reason ... ie, the religious reference ... and you know how were not allowed to have those ... here becasue religion is yoru choice and shouldn't be forced on you by a cartoon ... yea ... the lawsuit idea would have been ok, but it problaby was becasue of that religious freedom bullshit.
