Noir ep 25 is the saddest thing I've seen so far.

And Lain ep 13 has the best ending ever.

Some favorites:

Gundam 0080: War In The Pocket, episode 6 (one of the only times I've come close to crying during an anime)

Aura Battler Dunbine - Final episode arc...simply put, one Hell of an ending

Mobile Suit Gundam eps 27, 28, 35, and 36 (the first two because it was a refreshing change to see the focus shift from Amuro to one of the other pilots (in this case Kai), the latter two for the Battle Of Solomon...can't explain why, but liked this arc)

Cowboy Bebop ep 22 (What's not to love in this one?)

Shin Getter Robo vs Neo Getter Robo (use of the Shin Getter + Texas Mack turning in an appearance in all its Engrish glory = Winner!)

I have to go with the first Ep of hellsing.. I mean really alucard is a freakin hotte...
and I love the last Ep of Excel saga... "Explosons fix everthing!"
oh and the ep of Escaflowne when Hitomi smacks van, i mean come on who says "I want your power!" instead of "I want to sex you up, lets go do the nasty!" (That's just what I would say) i don't like that she kissed Allen thogh...*Stabs allen repeadly*

1st place: Rurouni Kenshin Episode 55 - Soujirou's past revealed. Easily some of the best character development in any anime I've ever seen. I still get chills during the last scene where he charges Kenshin and sadly even know the Japanese he says. The music is perfectly chosen and synced excellently.

2nd place: Vision of Escaflowne Episode 14 - Vaughn/Escaflowne kick the crap out of the Dragonslayers. Most badass fight in the series.

I'm trying to remember as much as I can right now, so here goes.

Evangelion Episode 16: The part where it just rains blood everywhere.

I almost forgot that one! It was really funny watching Nabeshin go ballistic.

DBZ: Gohan transforming into Super Saiyan 2. Saw that in the Japanese raw version. The song that plays with it really brings out the moment.

The episode of Slayers Try where they parody the five member super hero teams (i.e. Power Rangers).

Way too many moments to try and remember, so this is all I have for now.
