I can answer this question.
I don't want to spoil the end of an excellent series for those who haven't seen it.
Answering this question spoils the end of Haibane Renmei.

I'm not zen-enlightened enough to solve this one.

OK, this is how it basicaly works. One person asks a question relating to anime/manga. Then if the other person answers that question correctly, that person can ask a new question. Get it?

All you have to do is answer the last question that's been posted correctly. Then you can ask a new question. :P

Oh darn, I'm so dumb! What was I thinking :? :? :? *slaps forehead* *slaps again*

Thanks for the wakeup call Kai... appreciate it. It just jumped into my head and I typed it. Please ignore the question.

As I've been saying a page ago or so, I suck at asking questions. That's why I answer.

Actually, if you got a good one for us Kai, I'll gladly let you post it, just for correcting me on time (phew...).

(dumbdumbdumb. A most embarassing misjudjement...)

goddamnit, now I have to ask a question. I hate having to make these things up, since the series I'm good on trivia with, others haven't seen, and vice versa.

Okay. Subject is Kishin Corps. Main question: The first scenes in episode four, "Kishin vs. Panzer Knight part I" are clearly lifted from a certain Steven Spielberg movie. What is the movie being referenced?

Fallback question, which should be easier to answer: name two of the three Kishin mecha.

Hopefully someone can answer at least one of these....

If I may, I'd like to take a guess as well. It's been a LONG TIME since I've seen Kishin Corps, so my memory's fuzzy:

Raiders of the Lost Ark?

I believe it was 'Empire of the Sun' (my memory of Kishin is a bit vague, but it sounds like a logical answer). If I'm wrong on this one, I do have an answer for the mecha (but I wonder if a better question-asker than me can get it first).

So far CliffD is the closest, but at this late date an answer on either question is okay.

Ah... so I was wrong. As for the Kishin, I'm fairly sure that (at least translated), the names of the three were Kishin Dragon, Kishin Wind and Kishin Thunder.

Hoping that's right... it's been a while.
