It's not that I see cutlery and immediately hope for massive bloodshed, I'm quite okay with the show not having any. It's just in real life, if people are fighting with swords, someone's going to get nicked somewhere. Perhaps my expectations where way too high when the series first came out, something just wasn't connecting. Aku was pretty okay though.Kracus wrote:To me, Jack not killing people and blood/gore, doesn't take anything away. If it was in there, it would take away from the humor and not be interesting at all.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

Mmmm maybe you missed the context of my first post, in that I was disappointed that I was comfortably in bed (NOT wanting to sit up to turn off the TV for another half hour) and Yu gi oh comes on, with actually sucks (pokemon for preteens).the_stampeede wrote:yu-gi-oh rocks man and samurai jack is on toonami now idiot
And then the remaining post where I state I looked it up the next day and found Samurai Jack comes on at 5:30.....but oh...wait a minute...you're calling me an idiot because I stated Yugioh replaced Jack and YOU think I'm NOT already talking about Toonami when I put in my original post CN. I don't know what other stations Yugioh comes on, cause I don't CARE. It is on Toonami, NOW. So who's the idiot? Go back to Reading 101, I think you missed the 'Comprehension' part of class.
Afterwards come back and maybe then you can grasp the difficult notion that maybe, JUST maybe, other stations play Yugioh.

Yea I gotcha, the entire time when I was reading your previous post I was thinking of the old GI Joe shows and how they'd run out into a battle field with like thousands of laser blast flying past one another and no one gets hit. Its like, EVERYONE is a horrible shot but an excellent dodger (while standing still). Eh I found it funny.DTJB wrote:It's not that I see cutlery and immediately hope for massive bloodshed, I'm quite okay with the show not having any. As I said, it's a funny show. He's suppose to look stupid. Have you ever checked out the original sketches of him. Go to the site you linked, they have them there as well. He was suppose to look all dark and evil like some dark lord (although, technically, he is). But instead they made him look silly.)v(ajin Koji wrote:How does he appeal to you?Kracus wrote:Yes I wanted to watch Samurai Jack, problem? It's a funny show. I like Aku.

I've pretty much explained already why I like the show, the main reason is I find it funny.
