To produce something and sell it you need a market. As long as their are anime fans and people keep interested and buying anime there willbe a market. Some of the effects and method of animation may change such as the usage of some scenes in CGI may change but the medium we know and love as anime will exist as long as we suport it.

That means watching and saving fansubs might be fine but you still have to buy it when it is released tosupport the market.

Who says that FF:TSW can't be anime?

Is it because it was originally dubbed in English? Ooh, I guess Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust isn't anime. Oh wait, people generally accept it as an anime production. Hmm.

Is it because it pushes the bounds of realism in animation?
Does that mean that Blue Submarine No. 6 isn't anime (or at least wasn't anime at the time it was released)?
