Initial D 3rd stage

Hey does anyone know anywhere I can get Initial D thrid or fourth stage episodes other than takeing a trip to Japan?

I think we all know the answer to that... sadly, it's not one that can be provided on the forum

I also believe Third Stage is just a movie (right?).

Well, here's to hoping they'll get here eventually, which may well happen soon.

The Third Stage movie is licensed by TokyoPop, who I believe premiered it at the Big Apple Anime Fest this past summer, meaning we'll probably see it on DVD fairly soon.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no anime for Fourth Stage yet. Is Fourth Stage even confirmed to be in production yet?

I don't think there's a Fourth Stage, but I remember there's the Extra Stage with those girl drivers. I maybe wrong about the Fourth Stage though.

Im pretty sure its just the extra stage thats considered the 4th stage, IIRC the movie ends the actually story.

No, I know they are further along with it in Japan, because I've read stuff about the storylines, and the videogame goes further than the 3rd stage movie, like the honda racing team and when takumi gets the carbon fiber hood, and him racing against his dad, etc

Hmm, i dont recall any of this but then again im probly wrong. The game itself may be the 4th stage or there could be an extention to the actual anime that has yet to be released in the US. Are they still making initial D eps?

Those events all happened first in the manga, which is currently at 27 volumes and running (I think). The current anime covers up through volume 16, with some changes towards the end of it and some rearranging of the order of events.

No, Brah is right. The manga keeps going after 3rd stage with Takumi, Keiske and Ryouske and Project D. The game references things in the manga up through Volume 20 something.

As for official word, I *hear* they're gonna do a 4th stage, but no official annoucement just yet. It's kind of like berserk, everyone knows they gotta do it, but just a matter of one. OK maybe my berserk statement is just wishful thinking...
