Um...the best episode? I have no idea. Some of my favorites (don't know the numbers off-hand) include the first time Heero went nuts in Epyon, the two episode where Quatre goes psycho in the Zero system and nearly kills Trowa and Heero, and the episode where Duo faces off with the two immitation 'Trowa/Heero mobile dolls' to save Hilde. Other than those, the last episode was fun, too. ^_^

Spoiler
Episode 10: Heero Blown Into Pieces. Played a crucial part in my rise to power in my high school anime club.

Back in the days of fansub video tape, our club president had gotten the first 8 episodes of GW and had developed a crush on Heero. Like the good, then minion, of the president I had had been able to get the next 20 episodes from a friend. As the addicted otaku I was was I watched them all and happend upon episode 10. I realized my oppurtunity had come to take over.

It all started with the preview of episode 10, stating Next Episode: Heero Blown into Pieces'. She screamed when she saw that. I then showed the next episode the next week. (We met during lunches once a week so we only had enough time to show one episode.) We saw Heero blow up his Gundam and land in a pool of his own blood. For what was left of the school year everyone taunted or poor heart broken president with chants of "Heero's dead!"

Those of you who are familiar with the series know Heero lived. (Drat!) Too bad the school year ended before I could show the episode with his comeback. I became the president when she graduated, and she went to college never knowing if Heero was alive. However, the anime club still wanted to watch GW, and many more crushes developed for all the pilots, but I still held power because everyone believed I had the power to actually kill GW pilots. I only wish this were true. :(

frankly my fav ep (and that's saying a lot cause I don't like the show that much anymore) would be when Milliardo, in the Epyon, just destroyed Barg in one move with that bad ass beam sword.

The next to last ep was really awsome.

Episode 41: Cosmic Glow

This is the episode of the series that changes everything. If there is such a thing as fate, then it is cruel as Lalah said. This episode seals the fate of Amuro and Char as rivals. Before, Char wanted to defeat Amuro because of his pride as a pilot, but now it's personal. I think Char just realized that he loved Lalah, and in his eyes what Amuro has done to him is as bad as what the Zabis did. Before Lalah dies, she brings up an interesting question: what would have happened if she met Amuro first instead of Char? Would she have ended up fighting and dying?

Wait thats the original series........

But seriously my favourite episode is probally the episode when Zechs uses the Tallgeese to singlehandedly waste the Earth sphere alliance base.

Episode 9 of Gundam Wing

Why? Tallgeese is finally shown in all it's glory, killing that lap-dog of a lieutenant, and inducing a heart attack in a perfectly healthy male at his peak. It is because of this episode that I want to build the ultimate streetbike that has the horsepower to kill me, and ride it without a helmet through rush-hour traffic as an old man on my deathbed. Might as well live a long, healthy life, and then go out with a bang!

At first I thought I liked the second half of the series better then the first half (I had started watching the show the first time from episode 16 up). But now I actualy prefer the first half (Mostly taking place on earth), more political stuff I geuss. But any ep with Epyon or Zechs kicken' some ass is good.
