Finally someone who hates that show. First one I've found. Although if you're citing the characters in general as a reason I'd have to say you're retarded.

The show has some of the best characters ever, how could anyone knock chars like Miroku, Kouga, Sango, Naraku, or Kikyo? (all supporting chars)

I will give you one thing though, I generally cant think of any characters I HATED but I came up with 2, both from Inuyasha. The first is Shippo. The first episode he's somewhat of a little badass, then after that he simply turns into a kawaii character with no other purpose than to look "cute." And much more significantly the 2nd character, JAKEN. Jaken is Seshomaru's tiny ANNOYING goblin henchman, and when he gets cut in half I screamed with joy. Too bad his injury isnt real. Then he dies for real later. YES! Then he gets revived. DAMN. Anyway, I'd snipe him myself if it meant he'd STAY dead, sighs.

I will clarify why I hate that show.

For the most part it is how the charaters behave. I have seen a few episodes of Inuuyasha and from what I have seen of the characters it annoys me to no end. Sorry I can't think of examples, but they make the show really hard to get into which is why I hate it.

hehe yeah. Actually I am kidding. I disliked the show too at first also. The reason I didn't like it was because the animation, action, and dubbed dialogue all seemed very mediocre through most of the first season. Actually they stay that way. Theres about 4 straight great episodes of Inuyasha between episodes 13 and 16, and from that point on, the show completely changes. If the episoes you saw were early ones, you shouldnt like the show. If the episodes you saw were later ones, they wouldnt have any impact because you hadnt seen the episodes before which foreshadow situations and develop the characters. Character Development is huge in Inuyasha.

Inyasha is better dubbed in my opinion, but the dub is rough in the first 10 episodes ("Toto, I don't think were in Tokyo anymore"), and some of the voice actors take time to like (kagome, Kaede). Also the dub has very annoying voices at times. Their are more jokes and they are funnier jokes in the dub.

However, I was just showing Inuyasha to a couple of friends last night, friends who were skeptical as you are. We were forced to watch the show subbed, and I realized that the show seems a lot darker, more serious, and cinematic in the subbed format. They really like the show now, and were now undecided if we are going to watch the rest on Adult swim over 80 billion years or watch the sub, which makes the series seem more mature and dark.
