want more!
I'm not a "him", I'm a "her" and I really wish they'd make a second season...as cool as the ending was, there were so many unanswered questions! And I wanna see Alucard fight Andersen again, dammit!!!

I get the feeling that everyone overlooked what I said......Vlad86 wrote:Unfortunately Hellsing suffered from incomplete source material, and a hurried in "substitute" plot. AS the manga wasn't finished(it still isn't even after 6 volumes)the script writers threw in a sub-plot to "finish" the series off at a nice rounded 13 eps, with possiblilty of continuation (Big O anyone?) I've heard that they want to truly finish Hellsing, but Kouta Hirano (the creator) wants them to hold off till he finishes the manga.CaTaClYsM wrote:Hellsing is Mediocre at best. It hardly had any story, and the plot IDN'T GO ANYWHERE! and to top it all off, the ending was worse than Berserks. It's only redeeming qualities were a few fight scenes.
So, I do agree that the Hellsing show is great(what's based off the manga), but it does become somewhat mediocre after about ep 6 or so. So my advice to hungry Hellsing fans: if you haven't gotten the manga, do so. It is very good, better than the show even. Vol1 shoild now be on sale in the U.S., and Vols1-6 in Japan (and at your local Japanese bookstore, should you be fortunate to have one, otherwise try Animenation)
I, myself, have Vols1-5 and am very pleased with the manga.
So CaTaClYsM, even if you didn't like the show very much, I highly recommend the manga. It couldn't hurt to at least give it a try.

Possibilty means nothing in the anime production world. Until the animators, director or sponsors come out and say, "Hey, we're continuing Hellsing!" Then it doesn't really matter is someone says, "Well we would like to continue it". The same goes for Berserk. And as far as "what you've heard" until official sources are sited, all I consider it as is rumor or hersay.Vlad86 wrote:I get the feeling that everyone overlooked what I said......Vlad86 wrote:Unfortunately Hellsing suffered from incomplete source material, and a hurried in "substitute" plot. I already go there......haven't you seen me post there?TallonKarrde23 wrote:Do you?
And Mas, I know that's only talk, but there is still some promise.
It was stated that they wanted to, but Hirano-san wouldn't allow it.
And Big O has already set an example......now if only CN would show Hellsing on AS, yes back to back with Witch Hunter Robin would do nicely......

Hellsing?! I LOVE HELLSING! *hugs anything Hellsing related* I've only seen episodes 5-6 and 10-13...but this Christmas I might get the whole series. I love it to death, right now it's like my current new anime obsession. I've even begun doing all this research on vampires after I started watching it XP. *points to her signature* Yep...I love Hellsing!
