I liked Chobits and think Chii is a real anime cutie.

I see Chii in the same category as Data from Star Trek Next Generation.

Chii is a sentient, self aware android with emotions and she loves Hideki. Only problem will be when they want to have kids. I guess they can always adopt.

Ahh, yes, a sentient, barely legal robot whose ideas about love and romance are implanted by her master.

Would she love him if she was free to explore the world and all the men (or women) within it? If she had more of a choice in who she associated with?

Tell me, which aspect of the robot appeals to you more--the sexual, mindless love slave part, or having a beautiful women under your control who you can manipulate to love you unconditionally?

I cant say because i havent seen the series yet, but i will eventually stumble into it and watch a couple of episodes and if i like it, then ill buy it...
