And if only the bad dubbing would stop at anime.... I just got done playing Final Fantasy X. Argggghh... horribly dubbed!! Off timing, wrong emotions (if they even gave them any), the people sound weird and different from their chars. Yuna doesn't sound innocent and cute at all!! It was bad enough when they killed Aeris, now they're giving this great game bad voice acting. That's the real reason why it took ten Final Fantasy games to finally put in some voices. That and shortage of disc space. (Ok, well even though it was Square of Japan that actually killed Aeris/Aerith, it's STILL Square of US's fault for the cheap dub in FFX. Go figure, cause the voice acting in The Spirits Within was good, even if the movie wasn't.)
Which Bubblegum Crisis are you talking about, Kenny? The new or the old? I haven't seen either, but I'm just wondering.
Don't worry about your post Spike Spiegel, we know what you meant.

I see, so you like watching Tenci Muyo in Love in English then?BaHaRa wrote:....CaTaClYsM wrote:so this is more of a hatred of the english language than anything.
Some of us just like to see things in their original form..
Be more careful what you say. There's quite a bit of anime that was dubbed for English FIRST. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust I also think was dubbed in English first.
haaah haaah...

temjin, where have you been the last 5 years? Anyone's who interested in Final Fantasy in anyway already knows that Aeris dies. That was in Final Fantasy VII anyway. Nothing to do with Final Fantasy X. I don't why I mentioned it. I guess I shouldn't have.
I'm not using the whole series as an example of bad dubbing. I'm using just Final Fantasy X. In all the Final Fantasy games before FFX, there were no voices. The scripts were actually rewritten pretty well. But when it came time to add voices in FFX, it was horrible. It doesn't matter if you think the Final Fantasy series is horrible. Cause I'm just talking about the dubbing. How is the series horrible anyways?.... oh... nevermind.
Hey OmniStrata, it may sound crazy, but even though some animes are dubbed in English first, their original form is still the Japanese version. And even if you don't get this idea, you can at least understand that the Japanese version still sounds better than English version anyway. Not that the English versions sound bad, cause they sound real great alot the times now, but the Japanese version still sounds better. No matter how good the English version is.

Ok
Hey, calm down. 8) If you we're being sarcastic, you should've put a with your message.
Anyways...
No one said anything about the changing of the drawings from the Japanese to the English version when I mentioned that earlier. I just wanna at least know if I'm the only who notices this.
