Oh God, from what I've heard, Naruto has a better story and much better character design.

I'm no DB fan, I never liked Z or GT (the original was amusing for a while), and after seeing some other Animes out there, I decided "Whoa, DBZ is bad..."

So as you can most probably guess, I'm not too keen on comparing any series to DBZ. However, all I've seen of Naruto are some short vids, and it seems that the series is very much like DBZ, but without flying and the constant use of kamehameha. Though they may be similar, I'd still give Naruto more of a chance than DBZ.

I really do believe that Naruto will blow away DBZ. Naruto is a great show. The only reason I watched DBZ was pretty much to see Trunks *I hate GT :x * I really don't like comparing DBZ to Naruto other then their popularity. The only thing those two have in common is it have fights in it. Naruto have great fights *Garra vs Lee* and DBZ's fights gets really old.

I've seen the first two episodes of Naruto only (at a...thing. Convention or something) and it looks pretty good. Hopefully it won't be killed by popularity as DBZ and so many others were (can you say Pokemon, boys and girls?)

And when I say popularity, I mean overall popularity, not just AMV popularity.

I still like DBZ, but for the games and the pen-and-paper RPG more than the actual series (FACT: The SAIYAN SAGA ALONE has as many English episodes as TRIGUN. WHY??????????)

Bah.

You know what? I don't even care anymore.

Yeah i hope the popularity of this show doesnt get to a point where it is Naruto mania ... everyone running around with Naruto game boy games and stuff. It may sound selfish of me to say that i hope this series is kept in the anime community and not be exposed to the rest of the world. The reason is because then that show will become another DB and pokemon, enough said about that. Well all im saying is that i hope Naruto doesnt get played out and i hope it stays with wat it has right now.

reading the manga version of naruto (don't know if that's the original version, i assume it is) is a good way to go, you get a great story without filler most of the time and you can create ur own voices, so if you have bad dubbing... it's only UR fault! lol

plus the manga is easier to read than subs.. depending on ur vision
If you're reading this, you've gone too far...PREPARE FOR RETRIBUTION!!
Don't judge an AMV by it's anime.. u nooB ;D

Yeah the manga is good, but when i saw the anime tv-series, it was exactly like the maga without any fillers. The tv-series is actually a bit funnier because the characters voices puts more emphasis on their words and stuff. The manga isnt completely done yet, its only up to volume 2, and it wont come out with another one for a while. So im just gonna watch the tv-series for now, they are both very similar and dont stray from the story. This is very surprising to me because normally the manga is more indepth, but they seem the same to me ...
