Theres 3 types of poeple in this world...those who can count and...wait.
Seriously though you either have those who worship the ending of CB, and those who worship the ending of Trigun.
Starting any topics involving CB or Trigun is usualy the real life equivelant of sticking a rabid weasel down your pants.
...which I will now demonstrate.
I personaly liked CB's ending better. You knew what was going to happen from the 2nd eppisode but denied it till the Spike-ster said Bang!...and then it all hit you.
And yes, CB had a whole crapload of religious stuff in it.

Both Trigun and Cowboy Bebop has some "religious stuff" in it....but more so Trigun.
I've read from alot of places that the creator of Trigun, Yasuhiro Nightow, meant to make Trigun look the way it does as in religion.
Vash and Knives are supposed to be seen as Adam and Eve sorta. Both pure until Knives (see as eve) corrupts things and Vash. Alot of times, they tlak bout creating a new Eden.
What I think if funny is how Nightow is poking fun as priests through the portyal of Wolfwood. He's everything opposite froma what a priest should be

MINE!
Anyone ever heard the song "Wandering Man" By Johnny Cash and U2?
That song is Trigun. Every freakin line of it.
"I went out to the curch house, where the citizens like to sit,
they say they want the kingdom, but they dont want god in it."
And of course...
"I went out walking, with a bible and a gun."
Shame I lost all my Trigun DVD rips or I would have had a video by now.
Remember that CB epp, Brain Scratch? Everyone needs something to follow no matter how strange it is.
Being brainwashed is no excuse.

Hey! I was looking for a Trigun or Bebop topic so I wouldn't have to make one myself. So has anyone just taken the time to listen to the soundtracks of the animes? Bebop was waaaaaayy better than Trigun but they're both extremely good anime and they're the ones that drew me into fandom. They both have they're strong points, but I still like CB better. I'd also have liked to have seen a fight between Wolfwood and Spike... but maybe in the afterlife. And I'm still in denial that they really died. IT"S IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL OFF THE GREATEST FICTIONAL CHARACTERS KNOWN TO ALL OF FICTION!
You're lucky... I've decided to let you live to see the day when I will rule the world.
