Captain Tylor Question (Spoilers)

I asked this question every year and it always get ignored more or less, lets see if I have more luck this year.

Ok, the scene, the two general are on the beach celebrating Tylor's resignation. The one general then goes on about heritic monkey's and how they are need in monkey society (clearly impling that maybe the military needs a man like Tylor). Ok, this is the part I want to know about the one general look and then is a girl running on the beach, she looks at the general (or maybe just in his direction) laughs and disappears. Now it looks like its suppose to be the general's memory, but to what. What is the signifigence of the girl?

I thought at least those watching the DVD comintary would be able to say something about this scene.

I believe he used enough proper spelling and grammar to get out what he was talking bout. I understood him clearly.

I've never seen the series much less knoiw what you're talking bout but I'm guessing it could be a flashback hence she dissapears. Don't let the question tear you apart

I'm not going to let it tear me apart. Just wondering what it was. I'm assuming that the girl is a memory but to what?

Consider the girl is about only 10 years at most, I would be very grossed out to find either answer correct LOL

Maybe it's his mom who is his old lover

Anyways...here's an idea...maybe it's his dead daughter?

Or maybe Pyro was right in his assumption

I've seen the anime, however I only remember the first part of that scene, so I can't help ya.
