Well, unless I've really missed something and there's been another version of it released, there's one Saiyuki, with multiple series'

First series: Gendomadsen (sp?) Saiyuki, over here there's 2 box sets for it, the first series is 50 episodes long. Then there's Saiyuki Reload which is currently being made right now, as well as a movie called Saiyuki Requiem.

However, the legend that Saiyuki is based on, appears in many different animes, kind of like the Kaguya legend.

And Ryuu, I don't think you'll be disappointed

well my favoirte character is a tie between 2 people, sanzo and gojyo

i feel that the banishing gun is one of the coolest weapons ever,

i like gojyo's crimson hair too.

Gojyo's hair...mmm...I have this freakish infatuation with guys with long hair, especially if it's any reddish color, so yum....

I saw the first episode as a teaser this past fall and decided I needed to watch the rest. Unfortunately, I forgot the title and no one I asked knew either. I had kinda given up until now, although that's not the best way to describe my sentiment because I simply have a lot to watch right now. Anyway, Thanks for helping me find it again.
