Pokemon... is still a little alive.... or no?

This is only the info I know (some are just speculation). The new Pokemon Advance, as you may know, is mostly based on the Ruby and Sapphire games. It's likely that Pokemon is still showing in Japan since they probably have to go through all the major gym battles and the final tornament matches.

it surprises me how things such as cock fights (and the equilavent with dogs, as i saw in some freaky mexican movie) are illegal in prety much everywhere, yet pokemon is perfectly fine and gta3 is still blamed every time some stupid american teen decides to go on a shooting spree

It's easy to blame what's legal and slightly controversial. Much easier than addressing the actual problems, certainly.

no he's not, it's rather easy to quote and most people here can do it.

x2. That's why I get annoyed when people go on about how bad it is-granted it is not the greatest thing ever but the majority of people I know IRL got into anime because of it.
