My first anime i have ever seen would probably be something between speed racer, or voltron.

Officially, the first anime I saw was "Speed Racer", but back then I didn't understand the idea of Japanese Animation...

so... the first anime I saw that I knew as Japanese Animation was "Battle of the Planets" (which was the US Release of "Science Ninja Team: Gatchaman".

I don't have one first anime. When I started watching anime it was on Adult Swim and I watched four different shows. Yu Yu Hakusho, Piolate Canidate, Outlaw Star, and Cowboy Bebop. I still enjoy watching Yu Yu Hakusho but, Cowoy Bebop is still my favorite anime to this day.

*shamefilled expression* Pokemon. *weeps silently* Ah, the good old days of the fifth grade. Pokemon was the shizzle to my nizzle, or whatever.
Of course I wasn't really into anime then. I didn't even know what anime was. Actually, I got into anime 'cause I rented the Slayers series a few years back on a cartoon binge, and I had to have more. So... lets just claim that it's Slayers.
Heh-heh... I made a Zelgadis costume for halloween that year.

And the original Yu-gi-oh manga is the best! Unfortunately, merchandising killed Kazuki Takahashi's art. Damn collector cards...

My first was either G.I. Joe (was that anime?), Conan the barbarian(was that anime?), or Transformers (that was anime). Well I guess i saw Speed Racer too.

I was pretty young and barely remember any of them. I would never get to watch the whole thing cause it was early morning and i would wake up too late. my brother was already up and watching them but he wouldnt wake me!

Then after obsessing over that, it went to akira, then YuYu, then inuyasha, then Mononoke, then NGE, Then FCLC, Hellsing, Trigun, and lots more, right now im checking out Witch Hunter Robin -_-
