sorry if this was mentioned in the past, but i was wondering if the director's cut they released for evangelion was worth getting and what the whole reborn thing is about

The directors cut of evangelion im guessing is just regular evangelion with scenes that were cut out in the release put back in.

As far as the renewal set goes. The whole animation gets a makeover with incredible new visuals. I believe Ermac posted pictures of the difference when he paid the pretty penny for it.

If you want to get that i would suggest waiting for the release instead of going for the 600 dollar one
