Well I do like Gene.... he's cute

but my fav character would be Aisha Clan-clan

Personally, I didn't think it was that great. It lacked solid ground and the ending was too far fetched from the beginning of the show and it didn't provide enough closure.

Also the character development was very poor.... Melfina was the only one who actually changed a bit.

Gilliam was a Badass though. Only in the japanese version, they castrated him in the English dub.

Aisha was my favorite character...cause she had.... character.

Just my two cents.

not only is OutLaw Star a really great but the best AMV in my opinion was made to outlaw star

I really don't understand how jumping into a big vat of goo can control the ship

does anyone else find that odd

I think its kinky.
(anyone whose seen the uncut version will get that, Aisha's comment when she first sees Melfina in the tank)

Outlaw Star is a good series, its not deep, but it is fun.

Btw, has anyone read the manga?
Its almost a different story, is much shorter, and is more graphic(i.e, you get to see ALL of Melfina. And Hilda is just as exposed...)

well mefina was made aspecially for the outlaw star... so she must have some special ablity... one... she can control the ship... and for another...

They made some pretty odd edits thoughout.
I think it's the first episode where they edited it so Gene and Jim are playing "Fish" instead of Poker. Lord knows that Poker is the game of the devil.
