Berserk ?!?

I was just curious if anyone has heard anything about a season 2 being produced anytime soon. I know Anime Works is trying to get Kentarou Miura to produce one becuase of its success in the United States, and now with the Manga hitting the us (made by Dark Horse), I was wondering if maybe they might reconsider and make one. Anyways if anyone knows anything please post it! Thanx

It's one of those things that will likely never happen. Like a season two of Hellsing.

Personally I wouldn't want to see a season 2 made for tv. After the first season is one of the most violent manga I've seen and quite frankly it being edited would be dissappointing. But a season 2 isn't gonna happen, since the anime didn't do well in Japan. Plus I doubt the creator would want a second go.

Yes, a season two is doubtful, do to the last 2 episodes (there was no way anyone would air anything more of the series after that, even if there was more of it) plus budget stuff. But, if for some reason anime works is able to convince Kentarou Miura to let them produce a second season, I would be more than happy with it (as the show ended on such an awful note).

And as for a second season of Hellsing, well, there is supposed to be one . . . eventually. But the creator of it doesn't want it to occur until after the manga is finished.

Ok this is just a rumour I heard down the pipes, but supposedly they are making season two of Berserk. We probably won't see it for years though.

I repeat that this is a rumour, but i heard it from someone who seemed to know what they were talking about.

We can only hope.

Cutting out so many cool scenes from manga when making the series made me very pissed! And they weren't THAT violent. Everything after Eclipse is very violent, so I doubt it'll be a new serie, but making OVA's would be a good idea. And with no editing wut so ever. Maybe after "Teh best manga" ends we might order some cool new DVD's about one of the most coolest anime characters ever.

Yeah, that rumor been going on for a while. That they should make a second season of berserk. Berserk kicked ass!! what is wrong the audience in japan?!? how can u not love berserk?!?

I think they didn't like the story for first (happens in Europe)and animation (totally diffrent than other animes). Yeah, it's a kickass show! I'm making a video to it! I think I'll do great justice to all Berserk fans with it considering tha dissappointment I ran into in 90% Berserk videos I dlded.

The reason why a season 2 will never happen is the budget they would need to produce it. These days animes are made on shoestring budgets. The effort to animate a decent berserk would take the effort of 2 or 3 crap animes.
