Japanimation...LOL! That sounds so corny! From what I know, anime is the easiest and most widely used term in the world. Japanimation is for those dub loving people (I HATE DUB)

Although, some people don't know what anime is, strangely enough. I once went into a local video store and asked if they carried anime. The guy stared at me blankly and said he didn't know what that was. I said "Japanese animation.", and he responded "Oh, you mean Pokemon? Kids section."

Hey, you can't blame them for something they've never heard of. When I say I like depressing rock from the 80s, I bet most people would go, "Oh, like the Cure," and not understand when I start twitching. Or I say I like BNL, and they reply "They did that song 'One Week' that's in all those commercials, right?"

It's irritating, yes, but hardly an excuse to kill someone.

Opportunity...to..educate.

I totally know what you mean Chaos. That gets so annoying! It's kinda funny sometimes, though. I showed some anime to my Grandpa, who is very conservative. His reaction was priceless. I guess it was partly on account of the anime being Vampire Hunter D

, but still! He just grumbles, "I can't believe this crap." And then he shakes his head, grumbling, and walks away! It was great!

And Sarah, until a few months ago, I would've replied the same way
