I agree with there being a second season. I mean they did leave out a lot from the original manga. Plus I want there to be more Fruits Basket.

The curses each character has got cannot have anything to do with the years they were born in. Illustration:

1996 - Rat
1997 - Ox
1998 - Tiger
1999 - Rabbit/Cat
2000 - Dragon (Seahorse on Fruits Basket)
2001 - Snake
2002 - Horse
2003 - Sheep
2004 - Monkey
2005 - Rooster
2006 - Dog
2007 - Boar

Since this is a twelve year cycle, the characters ages would have to be distributed differently.

I guess what really bugged me was the fact that it seemed like Tohru was going to cure the curse (physically). (playing devils advocate) you could say that she did in a sense. She helped some of the Zodiac members out with their emotional and social problems (those problems were caused by the curse indirectly so you could say she kinda sorta in a sense lifted part of the curse). But still, it would sure make everyone a lot happier if the curse was lifted altogether.

Then there's Tohru's relationships with Yuki and Kyo. Tohru seems to have a better relationship with Yuki but at the same time what about kyo? Tohru is one of the few people that Kyo opens up to.

As far as I know, the manga is still running, so there's probably hope yet. And why can't Yuki and Kyo share Tohru? (Doujin idea!

Yeah, that kinda confused me- In the anime, I know they at LEAST refer to them being 'born under the sign' of their animal, but they simply couldn't have, if Momiji and Haru are the same age, and Yuki and Kyo and Kagura are, and Ayame, Shigure and Hatori are..

But then I decided that maybe originally (like the original cursed members) were cursed in order of birth or whatnot, and then as they died, others were born and just took the animal.

Do you think that CN will show Fruits basket on Toonami or Adult Swim?

Personally I think they should so they can give dragon ball a break cause they're wearing it out. And Gundum SD they need to take that out! Or have they already, I wouldn't know cause Kuwait doesn't have Cartoon Network so I'm clueless

chances are no because they mostly show action cartoons. Though it would be nice if CN did put it on

I would love it so much if it was put it on CN but it doesnt matter seeing how I own the whole series.

Heck, if it were on CN, I'd even watch it when it was on, due to the fact that I don't MIND the English voices.. Except for Yuki. I *love* Ayame's English voice. It cracks me up. ^^

Oh yes. Shigure's voice actor captured the lech part properly. ^^ I love him singing the high school girls song. ^^

Shigure is my favorite. I don't see how someone could possibly hate Shigure.
