The best anime is the one you like. This thread will be recycled a thousand times, so why bother with this kind of crap?

Party pooper. This thread is gonna be recycled a thousand times so why bother with this "don't bother with this thread" crap when you'll just have to repeat yourself next week. and the week after that and so on and so forth.

Any on the subject I'd say one of the best animes is Dragon Slayer. The animators we're definately way over caffinated when they made it and the movie switches tone's so rapidly itpretty much parody itself. If you can ever find a copy pick it up asap. my only regret is it's not on DVD

The Best anime of all time is slayers the 3 tv series of it. Lina is an interesting girl that makes everyone she meets no matter how powerful her bitch. It's funny It cracks not so much on other anime as much as the fantasy genre. This was my first anime and no anime no matter how much I liked it has been as good.

RUROUNI KENSHIN!!! yea! It has a very very good plot and storyline, in-depth characters, great music, and beautiful animation.

I also like wolf's rain and witch hunter robin. =D

I think I agree with a lot of you; there's no way to choose the 'best' anime. That's like trying to choose the 'best' character. I mean, they're all so different! There's no way to compare. For example, you can't possibly say that Uchiha Sasuke (Naruto) is 'better' than Yuki Eiri (Gravitation), because Sasuke is a ninja and Eiri is a romance novelist! They're too different! So you can't say that Evangelion isn't as good as DBZ, either. Does anyone understand me...?

well i don't really think that there could possible be the 'best' anime becuase there are so many that are the 'best'!! but the ones that stand out for me are probably love hina, full metal panic and naurto!! they just have most of the things that i like in anime. romance, action (well not love hina...) and a decent story line which makes sense!! also they all have humor which i think is an important factor to interest people to watch that anime.
