This shit is old.... yes its a movie.... there are rumors of the game being remade (because there are some videos from the game that they have remade) but the movie <b>is</b> coming out. The release date is on Fall of 2004, so its going to be out in a couple of months

I really love the way it all looks..... and the 3 clones look awesome. Also Baret looks sweet, and Vincent.... well you cant really see any details on him (on the trailer i mean) but he looks awesome.

As most people said it is a movie, I'm pretty sure there is not going to be a FF7 game for the PS2 seeing in a interview from somewhere Square said that they are 99% sure there won't me a remake of FF7. As for the movie it takes place during the game (we have all seen the scene with sephiroth and the fire from both the game and Advent Children)but not right from the start. It more or less adds to the game but there is no need to have played the game to understand it.

I just watched XPlay and they were at some Tokyo Gaming Convention...they said the surest release date would be next summer.
