With consoles especially, this is known to happen. People get pissed when some cool game is coming out for a more advanced system, but not theirs. Same thinjg happens with computers, but it's not as pronounced.

actualy with computers its just a constant cargument on the state of the new hardware and its effect, on the game, and how it may shadow developers from actual gameplay

Actually, they're re-dubbing and re-naming it. So they're redubbing it in both senses.

I'm talkin the renewal stuff here. The shit we got on television was the cut version of the non-directors cut series. The so called "perfect collection" box set, in other words. Not even worth watching. How could SBS justify cutting something that was already cut, thats what i want to know.

There is a funny story behind that:

Up until about a week ago (probably just after I added to my sig) I had always spelled prepare like prepair. Always. Never thought once it was wrong. Then, spellcheck caught it (I do use spellcheck a lot, I guess I never wrote prepair in something I spellchecked before). I was shocked, and slightly embarrassed. Maybe a little bit amused too.

So yeah, STOP PICKING ON ME!!!!! Waaa~~~~~~

[sarcasm]Not that I bring it upon myself or anything.[/sarcasm]

All right then, since all that griping has been concluded, :? what I would like to know is whether this new edition of NGE is the one to get, or if not, which?

I'm curious because I've never seen NGE and want to buy a DVD or two at the next con I'm going to.
