I agree completely. Has anyone else had moments when, watching an anime, thought "Geeze, if I were there, I would have done this" instead of whatever a certain character had been doing?

Well hence the name I would be Gene Starwind of course for he has the attitude that is sorta like me. Go Big or Not at All. Take for example this Big Spring for the Maryland Gazette I'm going after 220 subscriptions in 10 weeks which has never been done before let alone 200. And my final goal is 5,000 and currently have 4,886 and need another 114 more. See for I don't go for the small stuff. I go for the grand stage of them all. Zelgadis. My personality is frighteningly similar to his and, minus the strange coloring, I even look like him. I wouldn't so much mind the odd looks either, I'd probably find it annoying at times, but its still a fair trade for the increased speed, defense, and power it offers. He's adept at both swordplay and sorcery (which is right up my alley), so he has access to both ranged and melee stlye attacks. However, I would have to find some way to get around the whole sinking in water thing, I love the ocean too much. I wouldn't think that would be too hard either, I mean, the guy can levitate, he should be able to stop himself from sinking much the same way, if not just spend less time trying to find a cure that will make completely human again and use it instead to devise some spell that will grant him normal bouency.

It's taken me a while to join in this topic, but I got a list of people who I'd like to be and the reasons

1) Onizuka of GTO - He smokes a lot, which was something that I used to do, a lot. and the fact that he can morph into any anime or manga character at will.

3)Lupin of Lupin III - He smokes, a lot, which was something that I used to do, a lot. He's also the most cunning thief there is who always gives that bothersome Detective Zenigata the slip. (fuck the po-po!)

2) Spike of Cowboy Bebop - He smokes a lot, which was something that I used to do, a lot. He's also a perfect mix of Dirty Harry, Lupin, Bruce Lee, and Chow Yun-Fat.

3) Jet - He smokes, a lot, which was something that I used to do, a lot. Just in case I was unfortunate enough to live through Spike's sad yet glorious final situation

Can you already tell that I really missed smoking? All these characters smoked like chimneys and lung diseases were the least of their worries. Hell, I don't even think there was such a thing in the anime world. Reality sux sometimes, except when it comes to alcohol and sex then its all good

Probably Motoko from Love Hina. I wish I had her inner strength. She's very independent...but not TOO independent. She may be strong but she still has a lot to learn...she's still human. Her character just really appeals to me.
