Another topic about fanfics

i wrote part of an anime story but it sucks

I haven't done very many, but I do love writing fanfics. The one that I've done has some weaknesses to it, so I'm in the middle of redoing it, but I am proud because I actually got it done the first time around. ^_^ So, it'll be easier to go over it now. The one that I did was a Saiyuki fanfic. Currently I'm working on a couple of other Saiyuki fanfics plus a Saiyuki/Trigun crossover. Still needs a little work however.

I'm always interested in reading more incredible fanfic, if possible. *passes out cookies* Enjoy!

I bet I have thought up over 1000 FF ideas (most of them star trek, but more recently a lot of anime) but very few have every made it past the first paragraph. The only one I have completed is a self insertion X-Files fic me and my One-Chan wrote back in high school, its pretty short (only 30Kb) yet quite funny.

I have a solid idea for a crossover I would like to do, but the thing is that it would end up having 18 main charicters..It would get very involved very fast. Maybe some day I will have the time and will to do it, but not today.

As for reading fanfiction, just try to stop me! I have easily read over 15 megs of anime fanfiction. Good Stuff.

Fanfiction! I love reading it, granted that its well done and actually has a plot that makes a bit of sense. However, those really silly ones too are just awesome at times...

I write fanfics- in fact, I've got some up at http://www.fanfiction.net under the penname Celebria Viresse. There are 3 completed fanfics there, Trigun related (2 of them are kinda one shot stories.and the other is 25 chapters I believe..). I've got a Trigun/Cowboy BeBop crossover in the makings, and 2 Saiyuki fics probably with more to come. ^_^ go there, read, leave comments and I'll write more!

Has anyone in here wrote really long chapter fics. With many chapters and a lot of words. Say has anyone wrote up to more than 100,000 words total of words combined in all their fics?

You know there seems to be an abundance of Yaoi and Yuri fics out there, especially when it comes to animes that have extreme bishi charries...or even when it comes to epic tales like LOTR. I always see Frodo/Sam or Legolas/Aragorn pairings o.O Not that I have anything against it, but what happened to the good ol' fashioned- let's see what might happen if it were Arwen and Leggy instead of Aragorn? Or what might happen if Vash and Millie were ever to hook up instead of what everyone else expects with Vash and Meryl?

There is too much yaoi and yuri. I have no problem with that, I'ma pretty nutrael person in that subject of what is right or wrong, but even anime i've seen always have somehign yaoi that the girls turn into.

Glad to see someone agrees with me. It's not that I don't find it interesting (sometimes a girl has to indulge in pretty-boy fantasies...) however, I just wish that there were more fanfics that...well just stuck to the original character personalities. XD I mean come on, I don't think Gojyo from Saiyuki would ever get into bed with a guy unless it was completely non-sexual. Same thing with Vash and Wolfwood, or Toya and Aki and Yuhi from Ceres...*rolls eyes* well..maybe Aki...*sniggers*

I believe there just isnt enough creative minds out there that can make a fanfiction that is not just all fan-boy or fangirl. I've seen too many of them and is sort of sick of it. There isnt enough original story lines, just a few rip offs and plots where the main characters get beaten by a new character of the author. Or out of character plots.
