I would probably want to be Nausicaa from Miyazaki's Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. for anyone who truly understands who she is will get my point while others will most likely have seen the crappy edited version that came out in america in the '80's called Warriors of the Wind. Its a good thing that there is a chance its making a comeback and being re-released in its full fledged form within the next few years. Although I have to say the manga is still much better. And it was released way before Mononoke-hime and such its still one of my favorites. But anway Nausicaa brings peace between rivaling nations and can control the hearts of giant insects called Ohmu and then flies around on a glider called Meave and controls the god of fire that caused the seven days of fire. She's yer typical herione.

First Choice: Chi-Chi -from DBZ-

(she's tough and pretty, and married to the hottest and most powerful warrior in the universe; and I wouldn't be as mean to him as she often is.....)

Second Choice: Hilde -from Gundam Wing-

(technically like her for the same reasons that I like Chi-Chi.....and just the thought of what Duo Maxwell might be like in bed is very alluring ^o^)
