Kagome vs Kikyo... who would you pick?

Maybe relationship-wise she thinks she was betrayed ( she can't help being pissy, since pretty much all she can feel is hate). But as far as thinking Inuyasha lured her into a trap to get the Shikon Jewel, she knows Inuyasha wasn't the one who did it. At first she didn't know, but then she found out it was Naraku.

As for Inuyasha being a jerk wad, I can't help but agree 8)

I understand that Kikyo could have her reasons, but she trieded to kill Kagome, trieded to kill Inuyasha. I do prefer Kagome, and for a long time I´ve hated Kikyo. Now I don´t hate her, just... think that Kagome wins.

I guess if Kagome had about seven more years to mature, then I'd say she makes a nice match with Inuyasha. Two children paired together just leads to ignorant babies. Kikyo had the maturity to counter Inuyasha very nicely - now that she's deceased, she's out of the picture (unless we knock off Kagome and give Kikyo her soul back).

They're still the same person, same soul. Kagome's just a modern immature version. By the time she's 22 she'll probably be as respectable as Kikyo was, and just as cute (since they're identical aside from how they fix their hair and what clothes they wear, they even smell the same).

I can't believe people would argue so adamantly about two people who share the same soul and identical bodies. ^_^;; The only thing Kikyo has over Kagome is experience = maturity. You get that with time, so all Kagome has to do is wait till she grows up.

, anyway, I usually hate these with a passion, but this is the most respectable post I have ever seen.

I go with Kagome, because I find her more happy like personality more interesting than Kikyo's more reserved one. I like Kikyo though, I just don't like her when she trying to kill Inu-Yasha, she gets kinda annoying then. Besides, no one can make Inu-Yasha sit the way Kagome does.

I think Kikyou looks beautiful in her miko garb. Personally, I've always considered Kagome's uniform to be an eyesore (couldn't they have come up something better considering she's a main character and all?
