I'm really hoping that someone here knows whart a coordinator or a normal is in this show. I have no idea what they are talking about. Someone please explain.

I'm pretty sure that a coordinator is a genitical altered (inhanced) human.
At least that's what I got when they frist brought up the fact that the polit of the Earth's gundam was a coordinator.
As for normal I'm guessing every one else.

Coordinators - genetically enhanced, possess a good deal of extremely advanced technology (and of course, idiots like that masked dude put it to bad use)

Naturals - NOT genetically enhanced, and they desire some of this technology

The Gundams were created by the Naturals to get them on par with the coordinators, I think. Not that that worked out...they've only got one now, and the Coordinators have the rest.

It's just another word for "Newtype" from the original series. The Newtypes were people that were born in space on the colonies and somehow developed special powers. These powers enhanced their interaction with the mobile suits and other things.

It's taking way too long to get going. These past few episodes have been WAY too slow. Hopefully it will pick up soon. I've heard good things from people who have seen it already...so I'm going to keep waiting.
