Inu-Yasha WILL End in September

Oh thats what happens when you name a show after the character.

Though if you break down the name it has meanings of its own.

Well sticking to the topic I think it is good that it will end.

I hate it when things are drug out just to make more money or kiss up to fans.

Artistic visions have to have an end that gives people resolution to solid plot. Its nice if the end was in mind at the start.

Lets face it some things get drawn way out. DBZ was originally going to end with Frieza. You can kind of tell it was not satisfying so a BS saga took place as filler until the next good part. That happened a few times.

Then Pokemon, god what a marketing whore. It was great for an old gameboy game, but lets face it took the cute side kick characters made them hump like rabbits to make more to sell an anime with almost zero plot to gullible kids.

Endings are good as much as we miss seeing the show anew.

As for Yu Yu Hakushou, if I remember right it is kind of long. I like it though its like X-files meets the action of DBZ.

Inuyasha is kind of like Tarzan meets Cruel Intentions and ancient Japanese civil war.

I kind of agree. It’s a hard one to end. I think it could have been done better for all possible endings that did not end it.

The problem is DBZ relies on suspense a lot.

The first Brolly movie goes right for the action. While it is cool to watch any and all reasonable story comes off a little cheesy.

As for Pokemon it never had much of a direction to begin with.

Inuyasha seems to have a nice length.

When things are emotional it is nice to have a long show. Something like FLCL could never be long for it completes itself in a small number of episodes. I thought Gundam Wing should have been longer. I kept waiting for the peace talks to end and the fighting in every direction to start. Then it was over with battle at the end and constant peace this and that. Plus an unrealistic ending.

I hope Inuyasha ends well.

DBZ got worse and worse as it went on... Vegeta, Goten, Trunks (normal non future form), and also kinda Gohan went super sayan for basically no reason.

On a little philosophical side note.....wouldn't it be nice if something good did last forever? And that we as people could appreciate its goodness for as long as we could?

I know, sadly, that it has to end. Which is the way of our world, but still to me since I saw the first episode and fell in love with the series, I assumed like a little child would that it would never end, never really thinking about the fact that it WILL end someday. What would things be like if good things like this didn't end and we could keep on enjoying them? (Not that it is at all possible, but its a brain teaser at least)
