Me Three! I dont think im a weirdo anime girl! People are usually suprised that I do like it and most of them would never of guessed that I did... ^_^Miyavi-type wrote:Me too. You have to define "weirdo" for me.inuyashaguru wrote:i consider myself to be one of the non wierdo anime girls i would hope, depends on what you consider wierd. i'm not a freak about it i just like it.omniinuyasha85 wrote:first thing, bazanime, thats a SICK profile pic...i like it but be caught dead if my folks saw me looking at that pic on this website...nothing against you, just a random side comment to start off...
girls that like anime...not generalizing, but most girls that like anime in my parts are weirdos. be cool if i can find a normal one that does...anime is certainly a significant part of my life...sadly enough. but going out with someone purely because of a common liking for anime? thats a bit shallow, there should be more reasons for why you're going out with the guy/girl. one thing i notice in the slew of girls on my shitlist: they don't like anime...hmm. think i need to make additions in my standards.

Actually everyone in my school are pretty much gay's, bi's, and lezbo's so yeah but everyone of them have in some way shape or form seen anime and don't mind really that anyone likes them so I don't get bugged about it!!!

oops, looks like i created a bit of a stir. forgot that not everyone in the forum lives in my parts...
the girls in my parts that like anime: don't do much except bury their faces in manga books and computer screens. pictures of their fav anime guy all over the place: print-outs, sketches for the more talented ones, in their lockers, binders, doodle more than take notes during class of their fav anime characters, you get the picture. they are very hard to socialize with since every time i try to talk to them, the convo gets diverted toward their fav anime tangent. i had my moments being the anime and nothing else guy but not to that extent.
those are the normaller of the bunch. the other weirdos would be the goth, black clothing suicidal ones. two of them had cut marks on their wrists. and a mix of the two types smoke pot and watch anime for the unique experience.

Meh, if you're yourself, who cares if you're different/weirdo? A b/f, g/f should be able to see past that.Cloud Clone wrote:If people can just look at you walking down the street and tell that you're different, you're probably a weirdo. I'm assuming that's not the case for you ladies here, though...

(Ooooo, Im actually posting OO)
I have to agree with the majority here, it isn't good for anime to be the key thing in a relationship, but its a bonus, you shouldnt turn someone down because of it, there was one person I kinda liked alot when I was in year 11, He was into Manga more though and he drew it. He was amazing OO I think one reason I started liking him was because of it, which was wrong, I know... but through it I discovered more about him ^_^ The only problem was, he was going out with one of my friends >< Although, I was okay about it, because there was someone else I liked at the time that went to my Anime society.
I think for me, I have too much Anime and Manga to really go out with someone who dispises it, and alot of people do have the idea that its for little children if they havent watched it themselves... someone who thinks its okay or likes it alittle is okay, but having something like this in common is always an advantage ^^; I think for me though, it'd be nice when Im older to sit down and watch the odd thing together though when I get married. To be honest, if the person I am going out with at the moment didn't like Anime, I would still love him as much. I just wouldn't nick fansubs off him >> Well, there is alot I could really comment here right now, but I have exams tommorrow >< Maybe later.

I'm jelous of every one here. All have b/f or g/f. And I'v had nothing. What was it those two weeks when I made a pair of geta and wore them every other day to school? The only guy in my clan that ever had a g/f was *name has been withheld*. He liked anime and his g/f played Video games (Anime crossing with each other). They were even in a band together. It didn't last. Now I'm in the middle of freekin Irland with on chance of anime beeing menchened within the country.
I'd go with one of um, but I'd be shuned just like before. I couldn't be understood, anime makes up much of my life (what else is there?). It does and doesn't help that I have a pony tail (my nickname is legolous *excuse the spelling*).
I have nothing realy to say, just to yell that I'll die with no offspring
Well there are allways mailorder brides.

I learnt that anime isn't the most important thing in the world and is simply a way of entertainment.

Could some one please tell me how to effectively use quotes so that the person that said the quote is properly credited. I can only manage it to say Quote:, but not catboy sal wrote:
